I am an internationally published photographer in Columbus, Ohio.
I believe beauty and wonder are all around us if we look with our hearts as well as our eyes. In the birth of a child, a grandparents smile, a musicians face, a mountainside in the Rockies, a sunset in the high desert. Every time I pick up a camera I look for beauty, wonder, and sometimes a bit of whimsy.
When I am doing portraits I work hard to create quality images you will cherish for years to come. Whether its in the studio or on location, working with children or adults, senior pictures or lifestyle portraits, model portfolios or fitness portraits, individual recitals or special events, I bring my passion for photography.
I don’t believe in 15 minute cookie cutter, assembly line photo shoots. You will receive the time and attention you deserve. In the digital darkroom your images will be professionally retouched in a way that suits your personal preferences. I take the time to do things right.

I teach photography at The Ohio State University. I have also taught photography at Graceland University in Iowa and the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts in Michigan. I do photography workshops and field trips for a variety of clubs and organizations. You can occasionally find me around Columbus doing on-on-one “Shoot with a Pro” photo sessions for photographers who want to up their game.
